The Romulus Athletic Center is Gearing Up for the NFL Draft with Family Fun
Tips from Romulus Mayor Robert McCraight on Enjoying Your Own Draft Day Adventure Saturday, April 6th!
Q: How about a quick description of exactly what the On the Clock Tour is all about?We’re bringing some of that draft day excitement to this area with the On the Clock Tour. It’s a multi-stop tour throughout the Tri-County area that kicked off earlier this year with Romulus hosting the “Detroit is on the Clock” tour this coming Saturday, April 6. This will be fun and best of all free family-based event. This will include food trucks, arcade games, arts and crafts, interactive Detroit Lions inflatables and an appearance from Detroit Lions mascot Roary! You can also show off your football skills with different football skills stations.

Q: So, will this be for just for NFL football fans or is it something the entire family would enjoy experiencing? Our planning team has worked diligently in partnership with the NFL to create an afternoon of active fun for all ages and interests. It’s such a wonderful opportunity that should not be missed!
Q: What sort of activities that will be on-site for this event for attendees to experience.
The On the Clock Tour will have something for everyone, fun and games for kids of all ages; from rock climbing for prizes, inflatable running back challenges, quarterback throwing games, live DJ & music, raffles, giveaways, food, selfie stations. We are ready for a great day.
Q: Anything special planned for the event that might be of interest to those considering attending?
The Romulus event will be held at our state-of-the-art Romulus Athletic Center. For guests who have never visited the RAC the venue alone is an experience. We pride ourselves on being a hometown and the residents of Romulus emulate our slogan 1Romulus. Whether a resident or non-resident of Romulus guests at our event will feel welcome and part of our community.

The On the Clock Tour will be at the Romulus Athletic Center located at 35765 Northline Road in Romulus. This is just a terrific opportunity to experience some of the energy and excitement that will be happening in Detroit at the actual NFL Draft Day event.
